Day #4

Back up to speed! I took Addy outside for a bit the other day, it was a bit chilly so we didn't stay out long. I got a couple shots I was happy with. Now just working on post processing and using some of my actions in a better way. I need to get out and practice my action shots - Saturday is the big Alumni Game...got to make sure I can get good pics of Daddy!! :)

I'm trying to organize the house. I know, I know...cliche. But if you know me, you know I NEED to organize. We finally moved Addy out of the nursery and into her big girl room. She is sleeping so much better in there, it was a good move for everyone. The BEST part about the move...Mommy gets her craft room. I am so excited. Addy was "helping" me this morning! So glad we decided to go in there this morning, I hit the natural light jackpot. We have had sun blocking curtains up in there since she was born, and I had NO idea the light was so great. Might have to dress her up next weekend and see if I can get some shots in. :)

New Years Day - Post 1

365 has started. Can I keep up? Can I come anywhere NEAR 365 posts? We shall see.
I shoot with a Pentax K-x DSLR. I have had it since March 2009 and really love it. I have been researching and learning a lot lately. My main subject is my baby girl. Would love to hear critique from anyone that is willing to give it. I am going to shoot for some storyboarding in my posts, as I find that is a weakness in my design. I am going to try and post as many daily photo submissions as possible, but I also really need to work on my post processing, so don't be surprised if you see some photos resubmitted with different/better post processing.
